The leitmotiv of ELENAREVA winter collection is the time, expressed in terms of the life cycle. Expanding the idea of transience of time, Elena Reva offers its own formula of reality: the value of time, attention to important life moments and eternal love.
The topic subtly traces by the familiar ELENAREVA decorative methods - in embroidery and art prints, developed in collaboration with the Ukrainian illustrator Dina Linnik, which combined with the flowers with grid of temporary space. Flowers, as a symbol of inexhaustible source of life, symbolically combined with sharp cutting lines and graphical grid, creating exquisite patterns on the silk and lace. Embroidery on clothing scatters in the wind and we only see snatches of conversation from Ecclesiastes - "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens" Every outfit creates its own semantic field, where everything looks like a concrete statement.
Ukrainian illustrator and graphic artist Dina Linnik was invited to create print for the collection. Dina is known for the art collaborations with Helen Marlen, Vogue Korea, Harper's Bazaar Ukraine, Bershka, whose distinctive style was formed in the framework of the unusual collages. This season the time broadcasting will be presented in compound of the flower motifs and sharp graphical filing by Dina Linnik.
