FW18

ELENAREVA Fall-Winter 18.19 collection is a dialogue between two eras -- the daring and eclectic 2000s and the luxurious, seductive and liberating 70s. The designer Elena Reva found inspiration for the collection in one of the emblematic film dramas of that era, Arthur Healer's Love Story (1970).
Elena is trying to reimagine the movie's main character and put her in modern context, creating a collection of signature chiffon dresses with voluminous sleeves with delicate pleats, skinny neck scarves and sport laces. The designer suggests combining a massive masculine jacket with long skinny trousers or a sleek midi-length skirt. Another label's classic, a revealing bustier is executed in precise yet seductive tops, jumpsuits with draped bodice, and midi dresses. The designer also suggests complementing the image with an oversized coat of faux fur or a woolen plaid coat.
Exploring the 70s aesthetics Elena Reva experiments with denim: the new collection features low-waist wide jeans and a loose jacket with a low shoulder line.
FW18-19 collection is filled with visual dynamics – the designer mixes neon ultraviolet and synthetic pink with a large and small polka-dot print of irregular shape, several types of plaid patterns and a floral prints inspired by vintage 70's interiors. Those were created exclusively for ELENAREVA by Kiev-based graphic designer and artist Nastya Zherebetskaya known for the projects Emojination, Once Upon A Time (Zhyly-Buly), and Armchairity. This is ELENAREVA second collaboration with the artist.
